I have a new A10 & the lens feels very notchy as it extends/retracts, unlike my Optio-S which was very smooth.

Do I have a problem here or are they all like this?

Just got an A10 after my Optio S packed in.

When the lens extends on start up & when it retracts on shutdown it feels very "lumpy" & "notchy" unlike the S which was very smooth.

Anyone any comments as to smoothness or otherwise of the A10 & whether I may have a problem?
