Personally I like the right to left, it just seems to have more impact. could be due to the point John makes about reading from left to right?

Sounds like the focus clutch is not working as it should.

A quick update on the K3. I purchased this camera from WEX in June 2014, I have the receipt, so the camera still has 5 months guarantee left. I will consider reasonable offers.

Many Thanks

Despite really enjoying using Pentax photographic equipment over the last six years, my photographic work commissions have resulted in my need for some other branded equipment. This has been a very tuff decission, but sometimes you have little choice due work requirments.

However, I will be keeping one of my K3.s together with some Pentax glass for personal use I just am attached to it. So, in order to fund a new system for work reasons, I will be selling off some of my best Pentax kit, which has been very well looked after and is in mint condition. Sadly the below kit is not needed for the commissions I get, but i hope it will find a good home.

Sensible and reasonable offers please. Any questions let me know.

Pentax K3 body less than two years old, all original caps, packaging, manuals and CD. £450 ( Will provide shutter actuations when I establish what they are, but i am sure they will below 10,000)

Thanks John. Sadly Fran & I had glorious sunny blue ski's the whole time we were in Yosemite, but the hiking was exellent. I will post some more images when i get around to processing them.

Whilst I was in the USA over Christmas I stated that I would post some info about my time in the Yosemite area. Well i have been back a week and thought i would post my first update. For many PU members, its old hat, but for new members it might be worth a read? I will be posting images and maps and other info that others may find useful? but here is an original image and a quick B&W conversion.

Even the full frame market is changing for the likes of Canon & Nikon if you look at what Sony are doing with the A7mkll. Personally I think Sony are really onto something interesting and when the line up of e mount lenses increases, I think Sony will be gaining a lot of money from the photography market. The longer Pentax fail to release a FF model the further they will fall behind. Brand loyalty is difficult to maintain when other brands are pushing the photographic envelope and offering more. The K3 is a great camera capable of producing pro level work, but its limited to certain situations and environments and thats where Pentax leave people high and dry, the 645Z is an epic camera, but so is the price of the body and glass to go with it. If Sony can release full frame mirrorless models such as the A7, A7r & As without a huge line up of lenses whats stopping Pentax putting out a full frame model? There's is enough full frame glass about to get people started and plenty of people willing to move up from APS-C. The issue is about choice and sadly Pentax seem to miss this point.
