I chose Pentax as it is the sturdiest, i can take my camera to festivals, parties in the woods, out in the rain, mud and weather without worrying about wether i will get a shot. I Love my Pentax and the old lenses thing is great, but really its all about the weather-proofing, and the fact that it FEELS like a camera rather than a fisher price toy like its apponents! I kinda wish they made a pro one though, thats the only issue for me really is that IF i do start making huges amounts of money from my art, i will want a top of the range camera and pentax just dont cover that end of the market right now...

basically, way i see it is quite selfish really. I believe nature and the planet will succeed long past human life, but as a human... having a life, i would quite like to live with enough oxygen in the sky, fish in the sea and trees. Unfortunantly the way human beings are treating this planet at the moment is meaning that none on those things are guarenteed anymore. No Humans probably cant destroy the planet, however arrogant we become, but we can destroy ourselves, our homes and the futures for our children. We are very intelligent beings that quite often behave like virus, destroying everything because we can move on. Well there isnt any moving on, we either live in the burnt remains of yesterday, or we make the world a better place for everyone to live in. It not about surviving or dying, its about the part we play in that, and the type of place we want to live. I like taking photos of nature, animals, birds, people and more - i would hate to live in a world of no colour. we should be careful.

Some people really know how to put the "Mental" in environmentalist.
wouldn't surprise me to see "Green" protesters picketing Micheal Jacksons funeral, protesting the burning or burying of that much plastic....
The global warming fannatics fail to read the research that prove the Earths Climate WAS NEVER STABLE, it was always warming or cooling.....
to take credit for that in my mind equates to a sexually aroused mosquito floating downriver on his back screaming "Raise the drawbridge!!!"
and we are talking about the same Mother nature that brought us plagues, shark attacks, tornados and floods...She can get along just fine with or without us...
But I digress....
More rules and regulations are a good thing....
'cause common sense ain't common no more....
i couldnt agree more with the very first and very last sentance of this. you kinda lost me in the middle though

thanks for checking it and for advice, still wondering weather to do something about those horizons in Photoshop... the orginal images are certainly big enough to edit them down and make them unsloping! I suppose its just personal opinion really, think i will edit them and see if they look load better

Some excellent images feeb and love the design of the site but the hover thing gets on you nerves a bit if the big image box on the left is slightly off screen.Apart from that it's quality
