okay fair enough, i have a pentax k10d here which needs fixing but its going to cost 242 to do it! - will have to find something to do with it

thats a great tutorial you have put up there mate! must have taken a while and i for one am very gratful! we learn all this at college too but there are so many ways to study an art and i have muchos respect for those that have the time and dedication to learn so fluently without rigid support (i find i need the lessons, tutorials and assignments meself ) i will definatly use that as a reference thank you xx

although i fear you are mis-interprtating my lack of knowledge about my new flash with a lack of knowledge of flashes in general, my overall knowledge is very good, a year of technical study has made that a certainty. its the getting to grips with this particular flash gun that i am having issues with

not as much as i will learn from a 1hr tutorial based around my specific flash from my acclaimed tutor who has been teaching for 31 years in the best photography school in the country i admit i dont know my equipment as well as i should/could but the techincal support i have access to is second to none unfortunatly i have the flu right now so have been banished from college until i have a blood test done at the docs... so i have to rely on you lovely people (i am so happy you are there though ) Soon as poss me and Ian will have a lesson and i will learn all i need to about this ole metz flash xx

took my camera and lenses (k10d) to thailand twice and never had any problems...

that must have been the funniest thing to see from the road!! love the colours mate, really really good - looks like an ace festival too

To the forum in general, for being full of top bananas people, particular shout outs going to MattMatic for helping me work out my flash guy (i had it on full all the time and understandably it was pretty intensive!) and a massive huge hug and shout out going to TTK who actually PHONED me to help me work out why RAW wasnt working on my puter after switching from the 10d to the 20d - and the guy doesnt even use pentax anymore!!!!

This really is a caring sharing forum and i have been so moved by the help and support people have given me. thanks again guys and i hope one day i can be as helpful to someone as you have to me

hey dude, i dont need a crash course in flash fortunatly! I am doing a degree in photography and we learn loads of stuff there, unforutnatly i am off college for a week with the flu, obviously they are pretty tight on people going in with flu symptoms so i cant take my flash in to play! Am learning this flash though, thanks to you lovely people i will have a lookie at this 1/1 jobbie thanks xx
