How about a brave move and produce a true photography student digital camera - a sort of digital Pentax MX.
My ideal spec would be as follows:
-Full frame sensor with dust control
-Manual (and possibly Aperture Priority) only
-Spot metering and Centre Weighted
-Depth of Field Preview
-Manual Focus - there are thousands of excellent lenses out there available to be had for a song
-Good ISO performance (more important than pixels)
-High Sync speed
-Large clear viewfinder (100% x1.0)
-Small, light, decent battery life
-Bright, high res screen

I have decided to get back into slide film after switching to digital a few years back.
Having looked out my old MX from the attic - I (re)discovered how nice it is.
Unfortunately the meter seems to be faulty (intermittent). I have decided to try and have it repaired and serviced.
My options seem to be Johnsons Photopia or Harrow Technical.
Can anyone provide feedback on which would be better for a camera of this vintage?
Is there someone else I should consider?

Vivitar, Tokina, Cosina, Bell & Howell, etc.?
I would prefer focus action to be same direction as Pentax 50mm and 80-200 I already own. Subject matter is mainly Scottish landscapes.
