I mistakenly deleted all my photos on an external drive. Have a second back-up but some very recent photos I hadn't saved in second drive.
Have used PhotoRecovery and appear to have gotten all these photos back.
Problem is I can see them all in thumbnails but when I open them in a few different Photo programmes all I get is a grey screen.
Any answers??
Many Thanks

Why all the fuss - comuters/ cameras/ police have rights/ no rights.
If anybody makes you delete photographs from your camera card - OK. Take the card home - run Photorecovery and BINGO photos back. The police, in this case, don't seem to know, that, when a photo is deleted on a card it remains there until such time as the card runs out of space and only then will the next photo taken overwrite a deleted one. I'v had to use Photorecovery a couple of times when I inadvetantly deleted photos. It was scary what Photorecovery got back.

Thanks for all your welcomes. Look forward to being a part of this 'club'. You all seem to have great humour, ideas and enjoy photography. Retire on Christmas Eve (where did the years go) but looking forward to having more time with my camera

I have just purchased a K20D. I have a SIGMA 28-300 ASPHIRICAL IF lens that I used to use on a non-digital Pentax. The bayonet fits to the K20D well but I get an error message E---. I understand some lens can be rechipped to allow them to work on digital cameras
Is this possible. If yes can anyone provide details
Many thanks
