Why no?
Only with close up work you see the pop up flash in your photo, or in some ones eyes.
I'm pretty sure that there is a setting that will still enable the pop up flash to act as a trigger but does not involve the pop up firing. In the custom menu set the wireless flash to 'commander' or something like that - I can't quite remember..

Ffordes website (just google ffordes - first search result) has 2 second hand FA 20mm f2.8s for sale at the moment, though at £349 and £399 a pop they're not cheap.

Hi Mhuni,

Great to see that the 50mm Macro is getting some use! I love the buses pic in particular, to my mind the colour rendering with the K, M and A series lenses is more natural than the newer lenses - ie. it looks more 'real'.
You certainly seem to being doing more justice to that lens than I ever did!

Thanks hefty, you're right in that it's only noticeable at f1.9. You've allayed my fears that I had a dud. It' such a great lens that excentricities like this I can certainly live with.

I was very close then to sticking it in the classifieds for £50 or so . Sorry guys...

I recently bought a used 43mm Ltd and I love it! Everything is great in daylight - contrast, sharpness, '3D' effect etc etc. My problem is that when I use it under indoor lighting (at home) it seems to front focus quite badly. I am currently using -10 on the K20D AF focus adjustment for indoor shots when the light are on. In daylight conditions it needs no AF adjustment at all.
My question is - is this normal or not. Not that I can take it back or anything nor would I want to, i'm just curious. I just need to remember to adjust the AF settings.
Any thoughts....?

I've got a Sigma EF-530 DG Super and it's great. Worth a lookif you haven't pulled the trigger yet. (Mine was £140 second hand off ebay - mint boxed condition). The 530 non super version is about £130 new.

Just a thought but somebody recently (a month ago) bought my 1 year old K200D body for £430 on ebay. I know it's not the ideal way to sell but I'd never have got close to that selling anywhere else...

How much would postage be from Denmark to the UK?
Cheers,

No problem Giorgio, thanks for making everything go so smooth at your end. Enjoy the lens, it's a cracker (I will admit to having a few inevitable pangs of regret since sending it off - but at least I've got my 43mm limited to keep me happy!!)
