It looks heavily saturated and rather unnatural, as though the black levels have been ramped up.

Very nicely done. The blue looks too blue, unless your common blues are bluer then the blues here.

The large dune looks exactly how I saw it 15 years ago. My pick is the second for the composition, although I think it could do with a little boost somehow. I really like the colours and the sky in 4.

Namibia is one of my favourite places. Just some incredible landscapes. I visited way before my SLR days but nevertheless got some really good pictures with a little Canon APS camera so I really look forward to seeing some proper pics. Please post lots.

A prize has been announced for the winner of the next weekly competition. Surely that is now a disincentive to win this one. I'll look for a crap photo, of which I have no shortage.

I wouldn't donate my photos of baby milk to Nestlé, but I wouldn't mind donating my pictures of a cathedral to whoever runs the cathedral as money made by a cathedral goes to the upkeep of the cathedral (I assume).

It's always nice to see pictures from where we used to live. I like these different takes on familar scenes and especially the first.

Very good set. I like the almost forgotten shot followed by Prost's nag.

Good honest forthright judging, just the way I like it. Well done Pentaxophile, lovely shot.
