I disappointed. No 300 ED lens during the impulse buy?

Joshua: Thanks for the information. I have the lens back in alighnment at this point and have taken some great shots at infinity as of yesterday. I have a question for you. If I want to tighten some of these zoom screws, how would I go about it? Could you take me thru the steps, svp, and thank you.

Thanks, guys...I'm feeling kind of stupid. Some dirt under the rubber causing it not to roll over all the way. Everything works like a charm now.

While I love my istD, I am having problems with an old zoom (SMC 70-210 A Macro). I can't focus to infinity. Is this a quirk of the camera, or has something moved in the lens? Is so, where does one get help in this neck of the woods (North Carolina)? Thanks for any advice and assistance. Don Allison
