The vase is fine by me in this beautifully rendered shot. I love the sumptuous colours.

It looks like Luss to me. Whatever, it's nicely recorded TerryRose.

Agreed, its a beautiful black and white rendition. The leaves on the bridge walkway are the icing on the cake.

Which of the fishing villages is that Ron? I've been to a few of them and I think they are very picturesque. Nice shot by the way, but would it look more dramatic if you darkened the sky a little?

I have a shot of this scene taken from this identical location. Its Loch Maree in the North West Highlands isn't it? You've got better lighting than I had though.

Sorry to come back to this late, just seen your question. Contre jour is shooting against, or into, the light source.

300mm at 1/160th sec, that's some steady hand you have Matt, also good shake reduction on the K7. Its a lovely sharp image with great detail.

Great textures and use of contre jour lighting.

These three misty landscapes are very good Jeff. This one has a delicacy particularly in the top left quarter of the picture where the light is streaming through the mist and trees.
On balance though, on looking at them again, I think I prefer the other Pyrenean shot.
