This is super. Macro and high key all in one, very artistic. David PPG: http://www.pentaxphotogallery.com/artists/davidtrout

Lovely back lighting and interesting silhouettes. The image has an ethereal feel to it. David PPG: http://www.pentaxphotogallery.com/artists/davidtrout

Stark, bleak and beautiful - you've captured it wonderfully. I bet it wouldn't be half as good in colour. David PPG: http://www.pentaxphotogallery.com/artists/davidtrout

And there was me thinking you put the snail there yourself :D:D:D Well spotted. David PPG: http://www.pentaxphotogallery.com/artists/davidtrout

I really like your treatment of this Trixie. Its so atmospheric. As I said when I commented on a picture of the same pier by Andrew recently this is a very elegant structure and well worth photographing. The next time I'm in the Bristol/Bath area I must go to Clevedon as well as my usual haunt, Wells. David PPG: http://www.pentaxphotogallery.com/artists/davidtrout

In agree with all the above comments. David PS: isn't this the wonderful model in Hullman's recent excellent Gallery submission and weekly competition entry? PPG: http://www.pentaxphotogallery.com/artists/davidtrout

That's a very fine image Andrew, it works so well in mono. And what an elegant pier. David PPG: http://www.pentaxphotogallery.com/artists/davidtrout
