A fine shot depicting industrial decay which leaves a yearning for more prosperous times in some 'forgotten' parts of the UK. David PPG: http://www.pentaxphotogallery.com/artists/davidtrout

Lovely use of light on the landscape in this mono image. The cloud filled valley and the diagonal of the hillside along with the line of silhouetted trees are very attractive. David PPG: http://www.pentaxphotogallery.com/artists/davidtrout

Fascinating window view. Its time one of the competitions was on the theme of 'Window Views.' David PPG: http://www.pentaxphotogallery.com/artists/davidtrout

That's a stunning landscape Andrew. It has terrific foreground interest, an interesting back drop and above all outstanding quality of light. Is that island in the distance Steep Holm? I was looking at some of my images from Clevedon earlier today and found a couple of Steep Holm and Flat Holm among the unprocessed RAWS and had a tinker with them. A strong, graphic image. I agree, taken from an ideal angle. But the whites are tending to burn out, if you taken them back a bit the lovely textures in he wall will become more pronounced. David PPG: http://www.pentaxphotogallery.com/artists/davidtrout
