A top class photo Simon, congrats on it getting the Photo Of The Week award. David

Welcome back Ken, good to see your work again. David

Must go to Specsavers, hadn't noticed the wonky horizon - still not convinced it is wonky. Whatever, I like the picture and the matching overall colour scheme. David

Love the peaty colour of the Tees, must have been raining heavily in the high Pennines Carl. David

Did Val know you pinched the settee to set up this photo John? David

Delightful summer house but for me the most appealing part of the picture is the wonderful display of summer flowers. David

There's nothing wrong with colour popping, at times it can be a useful process. The problem is that often its done just for the sake of it and not because it adds anything to the picture. This is why a lot of people get irritated. This photo benefits from the process because it effectively separates the subject matter from the background. David

The B1s were among my favourite class of locos. This looks good in LNER green, among the trees of the New Forest. David

Flower heads are not my usual taste in photography unless they are exceptional - and to me this is exceptionally artistic. I admire the beautiful curves, delicate colours and the skill of the photographer in skilfully composing the image. David

Well perceived, it makes for an original image. David
