Is the 10-17 fish eye throughout the focal range?

Two questions:

1. Is fish eye a gimick that you soon get bored with?

2. There seems to be a range of Pentax fit fish eye lenses at the moment. Which do PU members have and how do you rate them?

is a new year long photography competition based on the South Pennines moors - Lancashire /Yorkshire border area.

There are four themes

Closing dates:
For Spring entries: 31st May 2011
For Summer entries: 31st August 2011
For Autumn entries: 30th November 2011
For Winter entries: 28th February 2012


The competition has three different categories so everyone can join in:
Under 18s
Over 18s
Camera club entries


Prizes include the chance to have your work professionally mounted, curated and exhibited in a 6 week exhibition at the Manor House Museum, Ilkley in 2012, a page on our 2013 calendar and a chance to win a tuition session with a professional photographer.

There are two digital outdoor photo workshops running at the Bracken Hall Countryside Shipley Glen, Baildon, West Yorkshire.

The first is for families and the second for adults. I think that they will be suitable fo people just starting out. Further information at:

Unfortunatley I've lost the box with all the adapters in it so if anyone has a spare adapter of the Olympus or Nikon type please let me know and save an old man from laying on the floor to take flower pictures!

I have one without a name from SR Girten. It worked well on the K20,a little loose as others mentioned. I got it out agian the other day to use with the new K7 but cannot find the adpator anywhere... so if you have a spare let me know....
