I use a Tamrac weather-proof (essential) backpack, separate bottom loader for the camera and lenses and a versatile conventional space on top for more gear, coat, sandwiches etc. It has a laptop slot down the back - very useful for papers or umbrellas! or... a laptop
Lots of little pockets for batteries, cards, filters. Had it for 3 years, no complaints.

Blythman, that's a cracking idea!
OK, K-x is staying with me for a while longer, sorry

Yes, the 200mm and the 135 are both exceptionally sharp and in great condition. Piece of cake to use with the green button. But they are both in a range I never use.

Now... IR and a K-x.......

Toon49 - K-x: around £150 please.

K7 has unmarked glass screen protectors and comes with charger.
photos:
Screen-protectors
K7 - front (lens not included)
In all other respects the K7 is standard and unmarked.
It seems to be better built than my K5 which has always felt like it's going to fall apart at any moment. The K7 feels bullet-proof like my old K10d.

Pete, thanks so much for the film. You're a gentleman. It's gone straight in the fridge
Just waiting for some showery weather or nice sunset, to put Ronnie's Velvia to good use, then I'll be cracking open your packages!
Cheers
Mark

Incidentally, folks, this is a little gem of a camera, so sensible offers please.

.
K7 £230
.
SMC M 1:4 200mm £45

K-x offers

Everything's pretty immaculate, so not much point in photographing it all unless you're interested.

Wow thanks Pete
That'll be a big help while I find my feet, cheers.

Everything arrived in beautiful condition - secure delivery, the next day.
Thanks for the extra goodies Ronnie, Can't wait

Hello you strange people in MF film land
Just took possession of ronniemac's 645N and 45mm and re-entered the long-forgotten world of careful framing, meticulous exposure and... waiting!
I literally can't wait - to get out on the moors with it and re-experience the joy of transparencies and the delicious anticipation. I must remind myself how disappointing the end results were after days of built-up expectations But some of my most cherished images were from those days, including my profile picture - a crop from a day out in the Highlands with the camper and P30e
So wish me luck, you odd bunch, I'll need it.

Did you photograph these on your Canon Mike? (have you still got a Canon?)
p.s. your 100mm macro is still my favourite lens after 2 years
