I'm not a landscape photographer; I love to get out, but I'm more accustomed to lights and products than camping out hoping for just the right light.
I took a chance on the weather forecast actually being accurate and went up onto the high moors and slept in the van ready for a white start with broken cloud. I was fully expecting to jinx the weather as usual, but it pretty much did just what they said
Not being very experienced I guessed where to go and clambered around in the dark trying to get somewhere interesting before it all kicked off, with about 30 pounds of gear on my back looking like a Yeti in 6 layers motorbike clothing (all I've got that's up to driving sleet and cold).
At dawn the Sunrise was obscured behind the usual bank of cloud to the East, so I staggered around off-piste, balancing over invisible bogs and rock-hopping over rivers with 8 grand's worth of shiny stuff on the end of a tripod.
Still it was fun and I came away with some interesting images and ideas for the next adventure.
All images: 645z A 35mm f3.5 (all other lenses just dead weight )

1. Walking up. It was pretty dark at this point.

2. Skip the non-sunrise and run over to this lonely Kubota.

Two observations: the 35mm is lovely, but not wide enough. And I'm not sure I like the 645 frame format for landscapes, I prefer the wider K format.

Cool. I'll send you my bank details.
I think I can send you messages even tho you're quite new (not sure how that works)

Yep still available.
No pictures ATM. I didn't bother because it's all as new, including the packaging.

It gets pretty easy to predict.
Often, my very first picture is as good as it gets. Nice and relaxed, bang. Then they start thinking...
I'm working on a staff shot right now where they chose the first one
They were paying by the hour tho', so it was handy to keep them busy showing them variations

That's what I thought, but I just checked my history on here and I didn't write it anywhere else.
This really has gone off topic now
So to recap - I have one of these for sale - £250 inc postage, no offers.
Enjoy your converters chaps, I'm currently waiting for better weather to go wide(ish) with LennyBloke's 645 35mm

I haven't noticed this as a trait. Mine is fairly typical in this regard - losing focus like any other macro lens when faced with a myriad of options in amongst the undergrowth. Then I remember to turn off auto-focus
It's a stunning little lens
