Was part of the K-7 kit I bought awhile ago, I'm the second owner of this lens

Devastating good lens..

As above, if I didn't already own it I jump at this..

Worth noting some new zooms should be on the way...

Microglobe have a good deal on the 55-300mm WR by the way

see separate thread on Microglobe

I had 0 problems ordering online and they have a physical shop, I will probably use them again one day

I was contemplating selling mine due to lack of use.

But now I've used it extensively in an environment where a zoom is needed and >100mm and can't see selling it unless upgrading. I thought it performed pretty darn well [with the k-5iis] considering it's price tag.

It has made me wonder what the DA* 60-250mm is like (since I already own a DA* 55mm and quality + the colours are outstanding). The weight and cost and the two big negatives.

But I am contemplating selling the following to obtain money for a 60-250mm :

50mm M 1.7
100mm DFA
18-55mm WR
55-300mm metal mount

In the end I took the 15/35/55-300mm

The 55-300mm performed pretty well, it was the first time I'd used it extensively/sustained

It was probably the most used lens on the trip.. I found myself at 55 and ~70 a fair bit... but also at 300mm

Reason for sale?

DA* 55mm from microglobe UK for £433 inc vat

amazing lens IMO

Lake Annecy might be on the list, which is where I thought the 15mm might come in handy
