Yes and I would have to consider that but I just like apsc size bodies I had really hoped the new one would be really high spec with a tilting screen. The only other option would be to go to Fuji. Like I said it's a quandary. I just cant get my head around them omitting it with all the competition about.

No they don't and it is something I increasingly want for low level macro or any low level type shots. A long time ago I had the old Olympus 8080 and that had a tilting screen and I find I am increasingly missing it. I just think with Fuji, Sony and Panasonic all having them it should really be a standard feature. I can only hope that they get enough feedback to reconsider not putting one on.

As much as i'm pleased there is going to be a new apsc camera the fact that there is no articulating or even tilting screen is a deal breaker for me. A real shame because I like apsc cameras but the KP doesn't quite do it for me. So what to do next that is the quandary.

Just been in London camera exchange Worcester and all their Pentax stuff is gone, according to sales assistant the group as a whole is stopping selling new Pentax. All that was there was a couple of second hand lenses. So in effect there is no Pentax high Street presence at all, how are they ever going to grab more of the market.

Selfie trying out strobist lighting, when the rest of the family didn't want to play.

Thank's gravelrash, I have always been impressed with Gary's pictures as well, and am always scanning his stuff for hint's and tips. And stub I always try and contact the bands and offer them facebook size prints that they can use as they wish and they usually seem happy with them. Once again thank's for all the comments.

The Hare & Hounds is pretty dingy lighting wise, the best shutter speed I got was 125th but was more usually 60th or lower at 1600 ISO. Did not really want to go any higher on the ISO to try and keep the noise to a minimum. Obviously the trick is to get the timing right before the spots change to a darker colour or the musician moves out of the light. Have to shoot a lot to get a few keepers.

Interesting stuff cabstar, they do seem to be dragging their feet on full frame. By the way do you use manual metering on your gig photos, I used AV on these, but was wondering if I might have got more keepers with manual.

Colin.
