Hi Everyone,
here my first thoughts on the K-s2
http://closhlab.com/blogwp/?p=109
However I had further time to play with the K-s2 now.
1. SR sounds annoying when half pressing the shutter, also: Do you know why it does the noise even when SR is turned off??? also I don't see much difference when the SR is On or Off. I'm thinking maybe my SR is defective and not turning Off, is it possible?
2. I struggle to get sharp images, when it's sharp, it's impressive, but it is one on 10, and I tried all kind of combinations/lenses/shutter speeds, maybe I'm pixel peeping too much.
3. Handling, nothing to do with the K-5 or similar range of camera.
4. AWB greenish or blueish , does not look as accurate as P-k5
5. Images are over exposed. the metering does not do a great job, I find myself to leave the camera on -0.7 to make sure I don't blow out the highlights, most of the times pictures look over exposed.
Can you tell me if you have the same feelings?

I had the K-5 for about 4 years, and a sony A7.
I will post an example, sfortunately I sold my K-5 so I cannot compare, and compare a FF sony a7 does nto seem fair.
On the K-s2 I'm using all sort of lenses, FA 50 1.4 , Sigmao 30 1.4 , da* 50-135, sigma 10-20, and pentax DA 18-135 WR.
About the sharpness: I will do further tests and send you the original files.
about the camera overexposing and AWB not being very accurate: does it happen to anyone else?
It looks most of the times is more for internals photos/ tungsten or natural light.
here some examples:
