Unfortunately I am selling my Pentax K5.
I have recently just got onto an Msc in Biological Imaging and Photography degree... and it requires us to use either a Canon or Nikon camera, due to their stock of different lenses required for the course.
I am so gutted considering I bought this brand new less than a month ago!...but also excited because I finally get to do the Masters I want!..
Anyway...

I'm selling my pretty much brand new in box Pentax K5 with the 18-135mm WR lens.. and my Sigma 70-300mm lens... Would much prefer to sell these both together!

Hi guys. Im so confused.
I bought a DSLR telescope adapter for my brothers telescope.
He wants to attach it using the eyepiece... so we connect it etc etc...
however... the F-- is flashing on the display... so obviously the F stop needs to be set... so how would I do that?...

I'm so confused and getting annoyed at it... as there are no simple answers anywhere!

Help would be much appreciated.... Thank you!!

I take photographs at ferret shows so it varies between indoors and outdoors. I am also an animal photographer so the distance varies a lot too.
So people and animals I take photos of.. I also want to use it for general photography for my ferrets and my dog.

Yeah I want something that gives me a range of everything I don't really want another body as I really dislike carrying too much around.

I dont really need it up to 300mm... probably about 200mm-250mm...

I have an 18-55mm lens and a 70-300mm lens... I need something in the middle... cos I'm really fed up of changing lenses all the time... I do event photography so sometimes I cant change lenses quick enough lol..

I was wondering if people could advise me on the best lens please?

Finished my dissertation now!... just waiting on results...
Off to photograph some flies today at uni for a piece of coursework should be fun lol xx

HDR and Tonemapping creates more detail and more depth within a photo.
I basically did 0.0EV shots... and compared it with the HDR image.
I found that there were significant more detail and found that with the HDR image you could see everything within the image rather than haveing shadows etc. I saw that the definition was a lot higher within the HDR image than the 0.0EV shot.

I'm Claire, I'm 22 years old...I first started photography a year and a half ago ...
i started of not knowing much about photography and went out and bought a Nikon D3100!(bad mistake)... I then met someone who was into photography and he was going on about Pentax all the time, I tried using his camera, and it was alot easier than the nikon, it felt a lot better when I was using it too... He told me I should just get rid of my Nikon and get a pentax... so in October/November I bought a Pentax K10D for less than £200!... I started to learn about HDR and often used the bracketed exposures on the pentax ... I also was in my final year of university doing forensic science so I had to think of a project.. I wanted to do photography... so as I got more and more interested in HDR I decided to do my dissertation on "Using HDR and Tonemapping in Crime scene photography"... I only have 2 lenses... an 18-55mm WR and a 70-300mm Sigma lens.
