Hello, I have a Pentax K10D and an old COBRA DEDICATED TTL D650 Flash gun that worked a treat on my old Super A. Is it safe to use on the K10D? I have heard trigger voltages could damage the camera?

You need to download K10D firmware v1.3 from here link There are instructions how to do it.Hello , thanks for the replies, I have actually just bought a sigma 10-20 F3.5 HSM and the auto focus doesn't seem to work.Hence my question. (I thought I'd better check before I complained). Apparantly old Pentax dslr's including the k100 and k110 doesn't support HSM which sounds a bit close to the K10. Maybe I need to update the firmware, something I don't know anything about?
