Cobra TTL D650 Flash and Pentax K10D,

Hello, I have a Pentax K10D and an old COBRA DEDICATED TTL D650 Flash gun that worked a treat on my old Super A. Is it safe to use on the K10D? I have heard trigger voltages could damage the camera?
