The transmitter only has centre contact, so no point in opening it
Bought on eBay 2 yrs ago from Hong Kong, for about £20 and never missed a beat They should work on canikons too
You should be able to remove ALL other wires and use them on anything you fancy !?

it's a fraction of the price of PS but similar in the way it works, which means you can easily move up if required

Happened with my K7 and my K5. If it doesn't pop out far enough push it back in and give it a quick 'flick' to get it to popout further.
