I've a set of Jessops Extension tubes going, the better 7 contact type for auto-aperture, no modification or shorting of contacts required. Boxed with intructions and caps in great condition, £50 plus delivery and fees if anyone here is interested.

As new, virtually unused, so looking for a new home, the versatile and well regarded 55-300mm. I've just found that this is not a go to lens for me, I bought a Lowpro Mini-trecker and find that the Sigma 150-500mm is going with me and this one is staying at home. I've taken about a dozen shots only with this lens, it is mint as new, complete with case, box, caps, hood, everything. Looking for £190 plus delivery and fees.

I'm thinking this might be a bit left field for most on here, but in case anyone is looking to perhaps try film having only used digital, I have a complete pentax outfit, ready to go, thought I might offer here first before the usual channels.
I have Pentax SF7 AF film body, with fitted battery, and SMC F 28-80 lens, with boxed as new AF400FTZ flash, which works also with early digital bodies in P-TTL mode, and boxed as new Remote-F cable shutter. Comes with spare battery and film. Camera supplied with manual for operation as is flash which is also supplied with case.
It's a lot of kit, in great condition, I'm thinking £75 the lot plus delivery and fees.

#4 for this weeks competition?
I've been to that very site in Cockington on many occasions, never photographed it, thanks for the inspiration.

Either pentax 35-70 paired with a set of tubes will produce impressive macro, in the technical sense, results. I prefer a macro with a broad focus ring for the most part I'm manually focusing even with an AF lens.

As an alternative, why not try an old manual focus PK lens something like a 50mm f1.7 with a set of cheap extension tubes.
I have a DFA 100mm f2.8 macro but the results with a Pentax A 35-70mm and a 31mm extension tube are pretty good in comparison. I think it's definately something you can experiment with at a potential outlay of £50 or less.

I have the OS version and my preference in set up is using lens stabilisation rather than camera and to have no filter attached to the front, I'm finding in use this is producing better results to my eye, nothing scientific of course but a preference nevertheless.
If I had the same choice as you I'd be concious that I couldn't validate the lens performance in the different settings if I bought the non OS version and i've taken a shot with camera OS that i'm not 100% happy with, I'd be wondering if it would have been better spending the extra few pennies and having the lens OS.
This is one of those lenses that you can go out with one day and get a lot of good shots and only a few not so good, and then take it to the same place photographing the same things on a different day and get a lot of shots that are not so good.
It's like the lens has a personality almost, and for that reason and for when it can produce great results it is my favourite lens,
I'd say spend the few pennies more get the OS version and I'm sure you'll absolutely love it.
Best regards
Chris

Selling just as you see it, Pentax AF-360FGZ flash and diffuser only, no box unfortunately, I have printed manual, but just as easy to download same, easily available. Great condition, battery door is good (for one of these) hold the batteries well. £100 inc UK RMSD but not fees, payment via BT or Paypal gift.
Just acquired a AF-080C ring flash, I'm working on the one in one out rule!
