The problem I have with the K-5 card door is that there's no room to get the fingers in to remove the card.
Ironically, the tiny Q has a similar design but it has extra space that solves the problem completely.
No doubt whilst the K-5 body design was being used it would have been too expensive to redesign just that one tiny component, especially if not everyone sees it as a problem.

I have the camera plus the hood adaptor and wide angle lens and very pleased with them. No gripes with the camera or its performance and happy to recommend it but ................................it would have been nice with a shoulder strap!!

City Photographic, Bedford Place, Southampton could do both 110 and 35mm.
Equally Snapy Snap franchise shops could assist. They're in a number of towns but the services differ from place to place.
Peak Imaging in Sheffield offer an amazing service and will process old films but not 110 format I'm afraid. They'll process and just provide a contact sheet.
I can even recommend someone that processes 620 and 127 format films!
Trust this helps.

I agree I have the problem with the card door on both the K5 and the K30 and I've a feeling the problem exists with the K50. Perhaps this accessibility matter will resolve with the K3.
With regard to downloads I neither use the the camera or a reader, most Apple Macs these days have SD card readers built in. I assume that newer PC's are pretty well much the same?
