Love the curves, solar panel and Angle!

Had thought about a trip into town myself today but it looked miserable this morning so stayed at home

i see ffordes have one listed for £49 so i'll take £40 incl. p&p.

Mine's a k20d. It's an excellent camera and it will be a long time before i feel the need to upgrade.

The wish list:
in camera neutral density graduated filters would be terrific
b&w filter setting that stays on for multiple frames
full frame sensor
TTL flash compatibility
non-crippled KAF2 mount (I like using the aperture ring!)
higher dynamic range

Personally I dont feel the need for an articulated screen or more pixels or higher ISO sensitivity. Reliability to date has been very good on k10d and k20d but my mz5 and mz5n were disappointing.

Never happened to me either (and thats with plastic hoods 10-15 years old and in regular use - notably all are sigma or tamron!) but i dont have any hood with the slide out bit.

The only problem i have had is the hood becoming loose from repeated taking on and off the lens.

If anyone is interested I am having a spring clearout of previously loved equipment as I dont shoot much film anymore and cant justify keeping it all.

Would prefer it to go to a true Pentax affectionado hence listing here.

All in very good condition and working perfectly.

Thanks for the suggestions Kris and Hefty. You are a wealth of knowledge. I didn't know about the Voigtlander so i will check it out. Think they have them at B&H so I'll take a look next time I'm in NY. That is unless i crack and order the used FA20mm from ffordes in a moment of internet weakness . Guess I could always dispose of it on ebay if i dont like it...

Thanks to all for the advice - i had been toying with the idea of the DA21mm but sadly it wont be much use with film. Ideally i would like the FA20mm and had seen the ffordes webpage but £349 and £399 seems a little steep to me when i could get a new ***ma for £499.

I had heard a rumour that some of the older pentax lenses are still available new in Japan but cant be sold here 'cos they contain lead). Does anyone know if this is true? I'm heading there later this year...

Needs some advice. Thinking of getting a 20mm prime lens. Want to use it on film as well as digital and want AF so only seem to have 2 choices - a 2nd hand SMCP FA 20mm f2.8 or a new sigma 20mm EX DG f1.8. Seems to me the new is not much more money than the 2nd hand so would be a better option. Does anyone have any experience of how these two stack up against eachother? Are there any other options? is the 20mm pentax still available new???
