When using the K3 with the Flu-card and using a laptop computer as the control device, the card documentation on page 7 states:-
Saving an Image - Touch and hold an image to save an image to the communication device.

My query is would this be to the laptop in the above case and how is the transfer done Wi-Fi ??? Can anyone enlighten me on this. ?

Many thanks to everyone who answered. It has given me a lot to think about. To David I am tempted by the 17-70mm as it wont break the bank. To GWING thanks for your offer to allow me to try some of you lenses if we can arrange a time. Where are you in the Chilterns ?. I am going to try to attach a couple of pics to this comment taken with the 18-135 lens, if I can find out how to attach.

At the moment my camera and lenses that I use are K3 with 18-55mm kit lens and 18-135mm, and 55-300mm lenses. Whilst I find the results of these reasonably sharp I feel that they do not compare with what I see of pictures from Olympus lenses. Can anyone recommend a Pentax lens which will give me the cuttingly sharp results I seek and which does not cost the earth. I am drawn towards either the 50mm macro lens or the 100mm macro lens. Would either of these produce the results I seek.?

HI JOHN - I thought you might like to know that I went to the link you provided and downloaded the App. The name when I ran it was still FluCard Pro but it ran OK and loaded all the jpegs from the FluCard Pro in the camera to my laptop. I am now satisfied and happy many thanks to you for your efforts.

Thanks Steep and John for replies. John, I have been to the Trek webpage again and ordered the App ' Flucard instant wi-fi' and also created an account. After ordering, a messgage appeared to say " Self collection Monday - Friday", does that mean I must return to the web site during the week in order to download the App. ?

I am sorry John but I went to this website :- http://www.flu-card.com/ and then clicked on the panel FluCard Apps which took me to another page showing list of apps.
However every one I clicked on appeared to be FluCard Pro apps and I still could not find any 'non-Pro' versions. Is it possible that I was not on the correct website.?

Many thanks JohnX for the info. However I visited the Trek website but could not see any 'non-Pro Apps' listed for downloading, they were all FluCard Pro versions listed.

Hi Guys - I have just given it a trial with your method and settings and it just produced three shots at the set time and the required interval. I am very much obliged to you all.
