Took this hand held with a Tamron 70-300 at 300. Cropped heavily and sharpened slightly in Picasa2. What do you think?

Hello there,

If the K10D is your first DSLR try using it on auto (green setting) for a while to get used to the way the autofocus works. If you take your time nearly all your shots should be sharp. But, the best way to learn how it works is to keep playing with it. Take the same shot with a variety of different settings and compare the differences.

Don't let all the bells and whistles put you off. I would reckon there are quite a few features that even the most experienced won't use.

Enjoy!

Hi Simon,

Welcome from me too.

I reckon you'd have done well in the Reflections comp a few weeks ago.

You could turn the third one upside down and still not know which is water and which is sky!

Hi Lilly,

You're probably right, it is heavily cropped as I couldn't get as close as the others. It's also difficult to get an idea of the real size of this one, but it's littler than it's name suggests, it was only about 5 inches tall and wieghed 5 and a half ounces.

I got compatibles (1750mAh) from digitalmediastore for £9.99 each and they charge fully with no problems. Haven't noticed any obvious difference in the length of time the charge lasts for compared to the Pentax originals either.

Cheers Matt.

Anyone else fancy sending [email protected] an e-mail with their experiences with the AF360, as they obviously don't think there's anything wrong with it?

Hi Matt,

What about dropping Pentax an e-mail with the pictures of the problem.

More grist to the mill and all that!
