Thanks for the tips guys; I`d heard of the washing up liquid trick but wasn`t
sure if it was just an "o.w.t". I will give it a try on some not too great neg`s and see how I get on.

Over the last 40+ years I have amassed a multitude of negatives and slides
and now wish to scan the better ones onto computer. Many of these are pretty dusty and I am wondering if anyone has any tips they could pass on.
