I would recommend using this forum as much as possible, I have learnt a lot just from going searching through old threads. I also purchased a book called Understanding Exposure which I found to be very informative.

It's ok I have been out with the kids taking photos with the K7 and sigma "superwide" 24mm ) and have only just read your reply. While I was out it suddenly hit me that my holiday in Cornwall is just round the corner and I'm running out of time to raise the rest of the funds to buy a new camera before I go. Haven't managed to shift my new Sigma 70-300mm DG OS so now have to sell this lens. It's in good working order, optics are clean and takes good sharp pictures.

One negative is that the part of the lens hood that you remove to gain access to filters is missing (pictured). I have not experienced any problems without it and the gap it leaves is underneath the hood not above. You could put some black duct or insulation tape over the gap.

Original caps are included but not I do not have the box or case.
