Apologies for the delay to reply - I did nt find your reply until now. I've been looking in the wrong place on this site - afraid I'm entirely new to internet forums etc
I will try to find out the likely cost of delivery in the next few days.
Incidentally, I've also realised I have a benbo trekker tripod (bought 20 yrs ago - and used for my K1000 and LX - but in excellent condition) - which is also surplus to requirements - if you were at all interested

Have checked - would cost approx. £6 to send by Collect Plus - or £13 by parcel force - so how about total cost £45 if sent by collect+ - or £50 by Parcel force??

Liking the sound of your Velbon. If you want to have a look at Collect+ (they seem to be the most reasonable for moving stuff around) and let me know the full cost, I'll give you a decision.
