How I would love to attend this meet - one of my most favourite places in the country BUT I will be in County Clare, Ireland, at least I will be somewhere beautiful with my camera attached to me.

I had the pleasure of spending my day with these 'magnificant 4' (sorry but you will have to go to my gallery, coz I can't work out how to upload images to the thread). They were - lovely (for their mums), cool (for their friends), informative (for their employers) - but to me they were - entertaining in their attitude to work, freetime, cameras and life in general. They were the best of walking mates for a lone female - thank you. Now all I need are your names as the hubby is asking awkward questions - like, what's his name? where does he comes from? why were there no other women in your group? - Just joking.

I get down to my mum's farm in WGC regularly and would love an excuse to get out and snap in the area - beautiful place.

Does anyone know roughly how many are turning up. I'm quite new to the forum and would hate to drive that far to find only a couple of people there. Just a question - will we be staying in the forest or moving on to other nearby places? Clumber Park comes to mind. Does any of the people coming know the area well? I have been there on a photographic course but don't know the area well.
