Hi I am going to bite the bullet and get a card to shoot in raw. I won't be able to use Google Picasa to improve the images, but I can use fast Stone which I heard does Raw. I have a Pentax K30 slr, what size card would I need to shoot raw please? Thanks.

I guess that you are thinking of Badbury Rings - a really well preserved Iron Age (I think) hill fort - a bit like Old Sarum Castle.

I know Sarum castle, was nice yesterday. is Kingston Lacy house very far away from Wimbourne? I'll be using buses etc.

Firstly if you want to be taken seriously the best option is to do what 90%+ of professional Photographer do, and choose either a Canon or Nikon;
I'm sorry but what a load of rubbish! Okay so they are brand names but some of the best photograph's in history have been taken and these were not the mentioned here.

Not a Nikon or cannon in sight, also.

I do, but someone told me that if anything does go wrong they go back on their word and refuse to help. This is a bit worrying.

So, lately Ive been shooting some street portraits and some action shots with dogs on the beach

I want to buy something smaller that might serve me as an "all rounder" but still have fab optical quality.

Jobs include POrtraits, family shoots, action, street etc etc

Specifically I would like to know is the DA 50mm 1.8 good enough for my street portraits because the M 50 1.7 is a challenge to focus at times in live view
AND if I was to go for soemthing like the DA 50 135 to cover portraiture, jobs would it still be good enough for action? Its supposed to be slow right?
I use an 18-55mm for my shots. I have started following you on Flikr ?(I hope you didn't mind) if you would like to follow me my link is http://www.flickr.com/photos/12599436@N07/

My photo's arn't as good as yours but then I'm only learning.
