Your pictures are great, man, this ones no exception, how do you talk 'em into having a portrait made by you? They must be absolutely confident in you, ...

stunned, Ernst

Thanks Bob, that saved me a couple of quids ... er ... Euroes and an argument with my better half (you HAVE already five, go out and play with them)

As I supposed, a lot of posts have cleared many nebulous thoughts, let alone the inspiring images, so I'm very thankful to you all!!!

Hello, paulyrichard, I find the photos very impressive, they remind me on the great US ones of Lange etc.

inspired, Ernst

Lovely shots, especially the last one, would like to play with the ears
Was there a special reason for the Tamron? 'Cause when I found out there is an affordable (for me) Pentax 55-300, first thought was, hey, then I would have a PENTAX for that range ...

greetings
Ernst

Hello back and Thank You All for the warm welcome, I was lost in the forums the first days
To Prieni: special "Danke" but now I'm older than my father was when he looked to me as being a "Greis"

I'm an proud owner of a K100D Super and this camera enables me to take pictures I never have dreamed about in the film era. I bought my first Pentax, a Spotmatic, way back in 1963 but somehow never made it a serious business. Now I'm after all the life in our garden and look forward to spring and the little fellers of blackbirds, tits and all the others.
Thanks in advance for the help I'll surely get to make better pictures.
