Not quite the same thing but I have decided I may have a couple of days in Skomer this year to photograph the Puffins.
You'll need a Pufincam

Just rest the monopod over your shoulder, probably better than on the ground anyway

Nice shots Bob although I'm not a big B&W fan, but Chesters B&W anyway

I've got the same lens only used it about twice though, bit wide for me

I think Pentax have enough on their plate without another set of lenses

They need to bring out a 1.4 - 1.7x converter and possibly an 80-400mm first as well as lenses for the 645.

I think most of the compacts are made by Sanyo and Casio.... don't some of the models also have a Casio variant?

I've watched half of it on i-Player very good filming for remote
cameras. The lens was a CZ Vario-Sonar so it could be a Sony camera.

I'll record it next week.

It's on again this Monday 2:25am BBC1 NW and again on:

Sun. 9th Jan 2011 15:30 to 16:30 hrs BBC1 NW and HD

It might be on other regions I got the above off Digiguide and
I think I have it set just for the NW.

I didn't know Polar Bears could even speak

Just to be safe backup as JPG files as well. There's no guarantee that Operating Systems in the future will run old programs needed to read DNG and PEF and you may also need a license.

In a few years (when my current Panasonic drives die) I won't be able to read my Cartridge DVD-RAM backup disks because readers no longer take the cartridges. I'll have to break them open and carefully handle the double sided 9.4GB disks

I've just stumbled across the receipt for a *ist DS I bought exactly 6 years ago on the 30th Dec. 2004 from a mail order pro dealer and it was £739.99 inc. 18-55mm Kit Lens

So you can't complain about the price of Pentax cameras
They must be giving the K-7 away

At £7.99 for 8GB I think the price says it all about Class 10 Transcends.

I've just had a strange experience with an ATP Pro Max 8GB which came out top in this test.

I copied a text file into one of the dirs on the card. Shut down the PC removed the card. Put it in another PC. Booted up. Went to the dir. the text file wasn't there? Did a search with the old 32 bit NT Filemanager for *.txt on the full card and it found the file so I copied and pasted what I wanted over to the PC. Still not showing up in dir list though. Never had any previous problems with this card, possibly a USB problem with the PC?
