After further research seem that only on the japanese edition is present the name ASAHI PENTAX, with "AOCo" engraving on the prism while on the other releases is present a certain level of plastic and perhaps issue on the film advance levers.
But I wasn't able to find additional details in terms of their reliability.

Even at very slow shutter speed and with a certain level of wind?
And using which lens?

Those who have used a 6x7, is it suitable for 'throwing over your shoulder' for a day out and putting it into un-padded bags etc.?
The issue that you should consider isn't the camera that you want use but the total weight and since even modern combinations of DSLR camera with a bright telephoto zoom lens f/2.8 or even brighter primes weight more, this isn't a real issue.
So if you support certain weight on certain modern camera combinations, you could support the same with the Pentax 6x7.

Which combination did you use or do you think is good for these MF camera?
Possibly taking into considerations exposures up to 1-2 minutes (so even very slow shutter speed) and with or without wind.

Note:
Out of curiosity i made even a poll.

I hear some things about Vanguard tripod rather then their ball heads but i'm more curios about certain specific brands.
Anyway on the main time that i'm wait for a tip about english communities i will ask, on the apposit section, at how you use or think is best suited for certain combinations and/or use.

Pentax K1000

If even on the model made on Hong Kong was present the 'Asahi' label how is possible easy distinguish it from the older edition made in Japan?

Which weak point was introduced on the don't japanese models?
I don't speak about the plastic part present on the body of the chinese edition but about internal components.

Just for clarify I'm the owner of a good Pentax A 50mm f/1.7 lens but despite the careful use the weak A mechanism broke quickly (1) I wonder if certain fragility could be present even on these camera editions. (2)

(1) On the Pentax USA forum is present a topic with informations at how fix it but since i'm no good at these type of works and the mechanism remain weak i'm use this lens totally manual.
(2) The costs for the reparation are high, in relation to the value of the object, differently for a lens isn't possible continue to use a camera if is break, and a weak point on the material used is prone at failure.

Plenty of people here will gladly offer advice on accessories for Pentax.
For the moment as accessories I means things as ball head for example so don't Pentax related ...
There are some products where I like receive feedback from user and I think the best place for obtain a complete information is on communities, since due to high customs duties and taxes, if a product isn't imported in Europe is often not cost-effective to buy, so If someone could point me out some english community i'm glad.
Thanks.

I'm sorry for the misunderstanding occurred in the initial phase ... , perhaps help to understand adding something more about me, my approach on anything is frugal and minimalistic more out of necessity rather than lack of passion in what I do, consequently I like obtain informations well before the eventual future purchase and since the barrier language present inside the Europe I'm limited essentially at english resource for find informations but don't always USA resource are useful.

I hope someone could PM me the link of an UK community for feedback on accessories while here I will more focus on Pentax items from now on.

Thanks.

I'm glad everytime the open-source products alternative increase over the time.

On their site i'm reading now:

The new versions do not require License Keys.
Good.

Note:
Tried it now the previous release on Xubuntu 12.04 seem work without problems.

Actually instead remain the License Keys issue:
