Hello from Alessandro.
For me a digital camera is just a tool and the day I bought a Pentax DSLR was simply because appeared the best camera from price/performance ratio available to meet my needs.
I think I can get valuable informations so I'm registered also here.
If a day I change brand I hope I can stay the same ... since actually I'm more interest on lens and eventually film camera so exists the possibility I would continue to remain with something Pentax with me.

Note:
Sorry for my limited knowledge of the language.
I'm using google translate for some words.

I'm sorry for the misunderstanding occurred in the initial phase ... , perhaps help to understand adding something more about me, my approach on anything is frugal and minimalistic more out of necessity rather than lack of passion in what I do, consequently I like obtain informations well before the eventual future purchase and since the barrier language present inside the Europe I'm limited essentially at english resource for find informations but don't always USA resource are useful.

I hope someone could PM me the link of an UK community for feedback on accessories while here I will more focus on Pentax items from now on.

Thanks.

Hi Alessandro, good to hear you have chosen Pentax. No confusion at all - the price - performance ratio is precisely the correct way to make a buying decision. What else, looks?

Pentax stands up very well in my opinion in any price-performance comparision. And this forum is also a place to discuss accessories that work with our Pentax cameras. With lenses in particular it is this high level of compatability both with older Pentax legacy lense and independant brands that makes Pentax a very flexible camera system.

Plenty of people here will gladly offer advice on accessories for Pentax.

For the moment as accessories I means things as ball head for example so don't Pentax related ...
There are some products where I like receive feedback from user and I think the best place for obtain a complete information is on communities, since due to high customs duties and taxes, if a product isn't imported in Europe is often not cost-effective to buy, so If someone could point me out some english community i'm glad.
Thanks.

Check out Vanguard ballheads. I use one that comes with a built-in spirit level and 360% compasss markings around the base for precise adjustments. It has a standard fitting that screws securely onto my Manfrotto 055XPRO tripod and the baseplate is fully Pentax compatable In my opionion it offers great value for money and quality.

Anyway on the main time that i'm wait for a tip about english communities i will ask, on the apposit section, at how you use or think is best suited for certain combinations and/or use.
