Big thank you to both responses....i will check for a custom setting

i am sure i am not the first....have a K-7 and a vivitar non automatic lens that worked flawlessly on my old pentaxs.....can't get this one to take a picture in any mode.....is there a setting?.....or adapter that will help me get this to work? thank you
