Which bike?

by NaimKhan

I shot these 2 images a few hours apart in Lyon a couple of days ago. I like the night image (right side). Seems rather richer than the daytime one.
What do you think?

I agree with you Naim, the night version is so much more atmospheric

Yes, quite agree.
And a cafe menu is MUCH more interesting than a pigeon !

I have to agree with Maria. The night time one, for all its bright colour, is a bit 'flat'. Each part is equally sharp and everything cancels out. The daytime one is about the bicycle alone.

- the pidgeon draws the eye up and round, add the neon' neon green and it becomes a anchor while the bike adds flavor, the image as a whole then becomes one subject. - Special - t

I prefer the daytime shot because its clearer, but the night time picture has more atmosphere. You wouldn't leave your bike unlocked like that in a Newcastle street for several hours.

The pigeon may be on the menu.
A possibility ?
It's certainly nowhere to be seen on the night shot

The two photos complement each other so I don't see the need to compare them! Let them stay together.
