Thanks for the praise but no, there wasn't any patience involved. But for my wife I would have missed them.
Yesterday it was a miserable day and raining hard when my wife called me to say there were Bluetit chicks on the feeders. They were fluttering about everywhere and I managed to count nine chicks. Then I managed to take some photos through the rain and the wet window. That's why some are a bit grey/blue tinted, but on the whole I'm pleased with them.
Please you like them.

Lovely shots of these beautiful little birds, we've just got a nesting box with a camera in, hopefully next year we might possibly have some nesting in it!

Best of luck with the box camera, I've often wondered about them, problem is we have put boxes up all over and the only thing that uses them are bees. Mind you it would be interesting to watch them.

Small lake outside my home is a major stopover for birds flying both ways winter/spring and I should get into bird photography but bird boxes sound messy, I;ll check it out. thanks for the hint. tg

Thanks to all for looking, I'm so pleased you liked it. It was only due to luck and a shout from wife that I got these and then it was through rain and a rain drenched window. I'm amazed they were worth keeping let alone worth showing. Aren't RAWs images and PSE brilliant.
Oh and David S, I've been looking at your foliopic.com gallery and they are fantastic, especially the Peak District and Scotland landscapes.
