West Bay, Dorset
by stevesphotos
It was wet, it was windy, we (the camera and I) got soaked, it didn't care, i didn't care much...
Before getting to West Bay, I had a look at images on Google, and pretty much every one, was pointing the other way (round the corner a bit) at the really big cliff. I decided to ignore that shot. Turned out alright. I've already sold a print of it too...

Very Nice!!
Lovely light, well captured.
It often pays to ignore the 'classic' view and get somthing unique.

I know this stretch of coast so well but I've never seen it like this, being a fair-weather person. An outstanding shot which is very special.
Best wishes,
Andrew

Very nice scene and light. It looks tilted left to right by a degree or so?

Engaging moody crepuscular lighting that accentuates the form of this rugged coastline. Bravo!

The actual horizon is straight, but here you're only looking at the coastline. Very nice scene and light. It looks tilted left to right by a degree or so?
