Welcome to the Picnic

by graysummers

Printed on extremely old bromide Grade 3 paper. This has given it a different feel to my usual use of 4 or 5 to bring about darker tones. The wind has given the grasses my favourite feel. Softer imagery.

This is really beautiful, i could imagine a courting couple in 1920's bathing costumes sat here, don't ask me why it's how the picture is portrayed in my mind

Maria. A good friend on flickr sent me a link re: beaches and old fashioned imagery. Strange you should echo these thoughts. Have a look.

Thankyou all for the comments. I love the feel of this photograph.
