Macro Mystery

by pgweber

I don't know if you would call this true macro, an oddity for you to ponder over.

What is it and how did I shoot it?

Shot using K10D/18-55 as jpeg, but is that it?

No takers?

I held my 50mm f2 back-to-front, in front of the 18-55 and moved close in, to a white bath towel.

You can do it better with a reversing ring (like 2 Cokin filter adapter rings stuck together).

There was not much on telly that night and I was still looking for things to snap with my new camera.
