A lovely composition and subtle tones. I would be interested to know how this was processed as I can't help thinking that there is more that could be extracted from this image.

This was compiled from 5 bracketed shots in photomatrix I tried to maintain a natural look and so didn't go too mad with the sliders.
I then used LR4 to tweak the curves and saturation to try and bring it, as close as I could, to what I actually saw.

I must admit that I took several 'sets' and spent around 2 hours, on the laptop, trying to produce something. This was the end result.

The sun was already below the horizon and the colour in the sky, which wasn't that strong anyway, was fading fast. I must confess that I wasn't that happy with the end result but, after all the time taken, I was determined to salvage something.

I'm glad that you all liked it

One thing that did surprise me during PP was the emergence of the vapour trails in the sky. As you may know Kew Bridge is near to Heathrow and right under the fight path. None of those trails were visible to my eye at the time but were picked up by the camera.

Lovely shot and i like the purple tinge and orange lights that gives a nice calming atmosphere.
Kind regards Maria
