Scarlett

by silverfox

This was taken this morning using my K-5 and a Pentax smc 50mm 1.4 -M series lens. It was shot at F/1.4, I love how smooth the focus ring is. A stunning lens. This is one of my daughters Scarlett shortly before she went to her ballet class. She loves to pose for the camera. The exif data is not present due to using a raw converter called scarab dark room, a free raw converter which is quite good and simple to use. After adjusting the levels and contrast, I desaturated the image and added a mild sepia filter. I also added a vignette which I like to use to frame my pictures. Although some might call it light fall off.

Beautiful and unusual. I agree with you about the lens, I don't own this particular one but it clearly renders images superbly.
