Thanks to our forum members for telling me what this little birdie was! No, birds are not my thing usually, but I couldn't resist grabbing a few when this one and a mate came nearby in our garden. I was upstairs shooting from a back window.

K7 and Tamron AF70-300mm 1:4.5-5.6 Di LD, ISO 400, F5.6, 1/180th sec, handheld with SR active.

Birds are not normally my thing either Nigel but they can sometimes make beautiful images when captured expertly....just as you've done here.
