I've never managed to get flowers quite right. The colours are pretty true to life and I'm fairly happy that it's sharp where it needs to be, but the composition is lacking.

Not a bad compo...and I like this focus-stack...Good result....only green leave is a little git disturbing but you could fix it using "quick mask mode"so to delete useless background

I'd deliberately left the green leaf in but I take your point that it would be better without. Then the flower would be a bit too central. I'll try taking it again, if the flower is still good.

Have to agree with Giulio re the leaf, the flower itself is wonderful
