Eye-catching shot Bill. I like the way the lines in the clouds mirror-image the cracks in the rocks.

As a Dorset resident, I have to ask - What is the white stuff ?

Pink hues at sunset often hard to capture. Well done, T

Such an engaging photograph. Grand sense of space in the fine karst landscape, with it's brittle edged clints & grykes softened by the organic form of the blanket of fresh snow. The anthropomorphic tree stretching it's limbs and fingers to the sky and the pastel hues of afterglow light. Poetry

Yes - they've said it all - as usual
Thanks for getting cold and sharing it.

Good the framing is just right, retaining the grasses at the foot, holding the edge at a natural finish, the composition is good with the tree placed just-so and the exposure saturation is very pleasing too.

Ian.

Sometimes you have to go get the shot. You have gone and gotten lots of them, and brought them back alive, like this gem. I'd love to have a print of this on my office wall.
