Fireworks the sequel

Photo Information
First attempt at fireworks tonight, had a lot of fun and some results that I was quite happy with. Might try a tripod next time.

That's brilliant for a hand-held!

Wow, thanks folks for kind comments, perhaps I will give the tripod a miss. Overall, most of the images came out like this, and the wavy light trails from movement just seem to give them a little more interest for me.

You've made my day Nigel.
I love the colours and the wiggly lines and the way you've caught the firework's trail going up.

Hi Charlotte, the spiral firework trail was a real bonus. The feather effect that you can see in the shot by SteveEveritt, was also a surprise when downloading some of the images...fireworks normally leave me cold, in more ways than one, but just when you hit the wall something else pops up.
