I do like the mood of this shot, his eyes look sad - was he a willing subject?!
I have been taking advice on cropping from other forum members so I would be tempted to crop the white out from the left hand side as it is a bit distracting.

Thanks for the advice- to be honest I haven't seen it that way... but now I must admit that you're right.
He was, let's say, quite willing
Apparently he was sad, because his father forbade him watching a cartoon.
